Bupa extends workplace mental health offering through JAAQ partnership
The partnership merges Bupa’s experience in health and wellbeing with JAAQ’s engagement expertise
In partnership with the mental health platform Just Ask A Question (JAAQ), Bupa aims to tackle the challenges surrounding engagement through personalised, easy to understand, expert-led advice online, increasing access to clinical advice early, when needed, via the JAAQ at Work platform.
According to Bupa, child and adolescent mental health services will be a key focus for the partnership, providing information and mental health support to parents to better understand their own and their children’s mental health.
The JAAQ and Bupa content will be integrated into the Bupa Touch app for the first time later this year, allowing customers to access all information easily alongside other health and wellbeing services from Bupa.
Alex Perry, CEO, Bupa UK Insurance, commented: “Our clinical expertise, alongside JAAQ’s engaging video technology, means our customers can access expert information in a clear, jargon-free way on a range of mental health topics which many may feel reluctant to speak about.”
Ryan Hopkins, JAAQ’s Chief Impact Officer, added: “We’re excited to continue our partnership with Bupa and bring their clinical expertise with our unique employee engagement platform to help as many people as possible engage proactively with their health and wellbeing.”
Bupa UK insurance recently teamed up with Practice Plus Group to increase customer choice and offer a new option for fast treatment.
